funny thing about 3-year-olds…they start noticing things. and they’re afraid of some of them.

over the past few months dutch has asked that i leave the light on “a little bit” because the darkness scares him just a tad. thank goodness our lamp is able to do “a little bit” because i was totally freaked out by the nightlight i bought a few months ago when the sucka got far too hot for my taste. i trashed it. so lately i’ve been considering purchasing one of these:

bag ladies reality radio launches bag ladies aids project, a campaign to promote national hiv testing day taking place on saturday, june 27^th, 2009.  bag ladies is producing a weeklong special edition show series which will air from june 22^nd to june 27^th and cover topics ranging from managing relationships, sex and dating to prevention, safety and protection.  additionally, an exclusive event to include washington, dc notables, bag ladies reality radio listeners and organizational representatives, will be held on june 25^th in washington, dc which has one of the fastest growing rates of new hiv/aids cases in the country.
