or as i like to call it, the love hut! how freakin’ cute is this thing? i discovered designer/decorator/author justina’s fabulous blog just in time for valentine’s day. her love fort was featured on design sponge last year and comes complete with directions. it seems pretty simple to put together as long as you have the space to create it, which i don’t. maybe a mini love hut?
justina also designed a super cute printable valentine’s day card that you can print from her site, check it out here.

here’s another wedding video by shade tree films. they really rock wedding videos! and i feel like such a sap for crying through all of these videos i’ve been posting, but wow, the dad’s speech on this one is just awesome!
i love everything about the swedish waterfront home of interior designer marie olsson nylander. the story goes that marie and her husband visited this home several times before deciding to purchase it. after making the big buy, the couple reconditioned every inch of the 70s built home. and what an amazing home it is! see the video that follows where marie talks about her home.
i love this video!! so creative. joya and emre seem like a really fun couple. i guess all of their friends and family were required to learn this song!
this is one of the sweetest wedding videos ever! the kidds seem to be such an awesome couple who not only clearly love each other deeply, but who also love the lord as well.
a note on the video said that the proposal shown in the video was not reenacted. brandon planned out the whole proposal and had two friends hidden capturing the entire thing as it took place. he kept the video a secret and revealed it to kristin for the first time as they viewed the film at the wedding.
what better way to celebrate the month of love than featuring wedding videos? these aren’t your mama’s home videos that drag on and on forever with loads of boring tidbits. nope. the videos i’ve selected are well put together and filled with touching moments from all over displaying the love of two folks who decided to join together in wedded bliss!
unfortunately my husband and i don’t have one second of video from our 2004 wedding because our video guy didn’t show. so all we have is our memories of our wedding day and a ton of wacky photos that our scam artist photographer took. (my pop was able to salvage one of our wedding photos through photoshop and it sits on our mantle.) but looking at these videos brought back all the feelings of joy & happiness that i had on the day that i married my husband. good times indeed.
