kindred & surrender to love’s 10th anniversary

i was speaking with aja of kindred the family soul recently and she mentioned that their debut cd, surrender to love, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year. my initial response was a little disbelief, like, wordddddd?? it’s been TEN years?? it seems like just yesterday when i first heard some of my faves from that cd including “far away,” “if i,” “stars,” “rhythm of life”… actually it’s hard for me to even choose a favorite from this project because it was such a solid piece of work.

to celebrate the anniversary, kindred is planning to release a live cd and they’re in the studio putting together their next project, which the duo plans to drop later this year. so if you’re fans of the family be on the lookout for some great tunes coming from philly’s finest really soon.
